The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Habitat Program purpose is to restore salmon and other native fish habitat in the Aboriginal Title Lands including the Umatilla, Walla Walla, John Day, Tucannon and Grande Ronde subbasins.
Fisheries Habitat Program subbasin projects have the ability to develop restoration projects within the geographic boundary of the subbasin, and selects and prioritizes restoration action types and locations based on scientifically defensible strategies and the best available scientific information.
